I thought the end of the year would be a great opportunity to run down just how much has happened this year!

I'm gonna be honest, some *BAD, BAD* stuff has occurred this year, which I'm not keen on talking about, so I'm just gonna limit it to the musical department lol

75 followers on NG, that's awesome!!!

I managed to get FrontPaged 10+ times, which is an insane number (even on paper!)

I collaborated with a lot of great composers I didn't know beforehand!

I published an actual cinematic EP I'm extremely proud of!

I managed to sold like 1 or 2 copies of the only song I have on BandCamp, which is infinitely more than I expected 🔥

I probably lost a 400$+ gig unironically because of AI :)

I played the drums/piano a lot, so that's always good.

I have composed music for the first videogame projects I've ever been a part of!!

I got 850+ followers on Bsky, by far the most unexpected thing out of all of these lol

I went to a Tigran Hamasyan concert with my dad and to a Queens Of The Stone Age concert with a friend: that's the most concerts I ever attended in a year.

I have composed an OST for a WIP animation coming soon on NG!

...and I got a turntable :)

This was my most competitive year online *ever*, so let's see how I placed overall:

NGMT: 1st PLACE!!

AIM: 4th/9th PLACE!!

NGADM: GROUP STAGE!!

BOTB: JUDGE!!

NGBS: JUDGE!!

Not bad.

Thanks to everyone I've had the chance to know this year, both thanks to Discord and NG events! Again, this wasn't the brightest year because of what I omitted, but your support for what I post has always been appreciated, and it always will be! :)

Now, I don't really know who this guy is, but he paid me A LOT of money to have me include this song in the post and say that it's an incredibly cool song about the sheer dreadful concept of infinity (you can too, DM me about it if you're not a mod!)

I've joined two different game jams with promising teams, but they both fell through for either poor work management or personal life events. I guess that's the sadbait you were looking for, I definitely feel pretty down about it since I made two full-fledged OSTs for those, never to be heard...

...so I'm gonna publish them all on here for you to see. That's the least I can do to at least honor the projects we worked on. In fact, I already published one of them!

Thanks to everyone who started following me because of the music I make, or a cool friendship, or other reasons altogether! I wasn't expecting to know so much people here when I was starting, I thought it'd just be a place where I drop my stuff, but the community is quite surprisingly very active in all departments, both in and out of NG.
