Peak animation.

Your stuff's amazing dude 🔥

You finally posted it on NewGrounds 🎉🎉

I loved this when it came out, you can check my comment on YouTube about it if you want a long bedtime read. I'm sure it'll get a lot more traction on here, good luck.

PS: a thing I didn't mention on my YT comment, the section starting at 5:16 is by far my favourite in the whole short, I love main characters that are unforgivably lunatic!!

artmosquito responds:

Yeah, I read your comment on YouTube, I really appreciated what you said about the film, I'm very happy that you especially enjoyed the pacing, I was worried that some parts are too vague and confusing on a first time watch through, but I suppose that's what happens when you make something solely for yourself. Thank you for your encouraging response! I'll try to give it my all!

Dude, what?? That's some crazy production chops! Was the rhythm guitar real or a VST? It sounded so so crisp along with the horns 🤘

It kinda reminds me of Moron Police lol

Jabun responds:

Ah thanks so much! Guitars (including amps), bass, and organ were all real (vocals too of course), the orchestra, drums, horns and bass/organ amps were samplers/VSTs this time :) Hehe, I was going for a Fall Out Boy meets Slipknot vibe for some of it XD

😵 GG

Italian samples used??
Finalmente un po' di Made In Italy anche su NG andiamoooo

d00dfayz responds:

I've been quite an avid collector of Italian library music vinyl rips from the 70s and 80s. I think probably close to half of the library albums in my sample fodder mp3 folders are Italian in origin. And if you delve into my collection you might be surprised to learn that a lot of Italian library composers did actual movie soundtracks too especially for the homegrown movie industry. For example, il maestro himself Ennio Morricone did a lot of library albums, and the whistler for Morricone's Western soundtracks Allessandro Allesandroni did a lot more.

Fallabrino only did library music AFAIK. Progetto Europa is one of those albums that has an eye-catching cover but is quite mid if you listen to it by itself. But there are good moments worthy of looping and using in a beat, so that's what I did here.
