How can a vocaloid sound this good 😵

Didn't know they were this advanced lmao

Good job on the entry, definitely one of the top spots solely for the guitar virtuosity, but I'm kinda sad it's this short, I feel it could've been developed further. But I understand we're almost at the deadline and making stuff like this is very time consuming, so props for pulling it off 👍

Knocked it out out of the park. Good luck in the contest 👍

thanks! I'm glad you liked it :D

Didn't expect this to be what it turned out to be lol

At first the chords were really jarring and out of context which alienated me a tad and put me on the fence taste-wise; but after looking at the reference art I gotta say you nailed the vibe. Without context it's a really weird wonky synthwave song, with context it's a man dealing with the uncertainty of the concept of infinity and the crushing truth of the unlearnable nature of the cosmos: no wonder it has taken a toll on the track too. Not many people would go for a cacophonic route to express that emotion, and even fewer people could manage to pull it off well, so credit where credit is due. I like how the track speeds up as if the character's mind was spiraling into a paranoid episode, faced with the destruction of his ego.

Only real nitpick I have is that for me 2:00 was foreshadowing a really heavy powerful drop, it built up and built up leading me to expect a heavy stomp to the face, but when it got to it, it didn't really add energy and oomph and it felt underwhelming.

Nonetheless, great work and good luck 👍

I was about to skip this one since it almost sounded like every other ear-rapey DnB track in the Undiscovered Artists section, but you controlled the distortion and chaos really well, and overall it was a pretty nice track. Good job.

I didn't know it was gonna be extratone 💀

Still pretty cool intro

Love me sum tropical vibes. The transitions are really clever, it catches you off guard but by the right amount. Really nice chords and harmonies, great job

ZaazNG responds:

Thank you so much for your kind words, super glad you enjoyed :)

Wow. I love how you mixed the drums, I love the guitar roars/screams, I love the rough feel of the subtle metronome's rec, I love everything about this. It reminds me a lot of Flanafi, you might wanna check him out. All around great 👍

Glassedhouse responds:

thank you for the kind words! going to try and keep this same vibe on the studio version. i'll be sure to check that band out as well!

Unironically genius damn. It reminds me a lot of those electronic pioneers making cool sounds with MOOGs (Mort Garson, Jean Jacques Perrey, Jun Fukamachi) in the early 70s/80s. It's weird, but expertly controlled as to not descend in cacophony, which is hard to do. The overall rating is unjustified imo; I know it's pretty avantgarde and hard to listen to if you're not into it, but as someone who strives to find music like this, it was a potluck. Congrats

This is a top contender imo, not what I was expecting but it somehow fits really well. Good luck!

Silnava responds:

Thank you so much! :D

I have a PC, much to everybody's demise.

I'm pretty versatile in any genre, but my DNA is mostly made out of wonky weird stuff with naughty time signatures ;)
